Celina Barajas is an Animator/Illustrator living in Chicago. She studied Traditional Animation at Columbia College Chicago and has worked on over 48 animated television commercials as a clean-up animator/digital ink & painter with Calabash Animation Studio (Trix Cereal, Trix Yogurt, Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs, General Mills, Harris Bank, and the MasterCard Icons commercial which aired in the 2005 Superbowl, etc). She joined the Comic Con scene back in 2013 (C2E2, NWI CC, Chicago Zine Fest, Pocket Con) and has been working on her own art and comics ever since. Her love of coffee and animals is evident in her work, which has been described as happy and playful. Her first self-published comic, "Color Me Whimsy", premiered at Chicago Zine Fest in 2016 and it is definitely a reflection of her bubbly and whimsical personality. In addition, she is part of the Let's Make Comics group and has participated in 2 of their collective anthologies, "Forgotten History" and "Out of the Deep". The next anthology, "That Makes Me Sad", will come out later this year.
